Fabiola Quezada at Visarte-Talks

I am pleased to invite you to an interesting talk about my art! Tuesday 18th May at 18.30 CEST!
Visarte-Ticino is a cultural association whose objective is the diffusion, promotion and development of the visual arts in the canton Ticino, in Switzerland and abroad. Visarte represents the interests of artists in this sector on a political and social level, lobbies for good framework conditions for artistic creation and offers advice to artists. For further information: www.visarte-ticino.ch
The moderation will be led by Sergio Roic, philosopher, writer, essayist, vice-president of Italian Swiss PEN and Rhaeto-Romansch and member of the committee of Coscienza Svizzera. Matteo Fieni, photographer, artist, cultural operator and co-president of Visarte-Ticino, is responsible for the conception and organisation. Visarte-Talks are held in collaboration with the Events and Congresses Division of the city of Lugano and with the support of the Department of Culture of the Canton Ticino.
In 2021 there will be 4 meetings at the Studio Foce in Lugano. The first is dedicated to Fabiola Quezada, painter and ex-President of Visarte-Ticino, internationally known and recognised, winner of the prestigious Lissone Prize in 2004. Born in 1968 in Mexico, she graduated in administration and studied painting with the Mexican artist José Sirahuen from La Esmeralda Fine Arts Academy Mexico City. In 1992 she moved to Europe. From 1999 to 2003 he studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He joined the Swiss artists’ association Visarte in 2005. His works are part of public and private collections, especially in Italy and Switzerland. Bodies, flowers, figures, even large ones, characterise his strong and sometimes tragic pictorial universe.
The invitation to participate in the debate is open and is extended both to the public present in the hall (50 people) and on the web thanks to a live broadcast available on the Youtube account of Chiasso TV and on the Facebook account of Visarte-Ticino
