“My work is a personal artistic exploration on the beauty of the naked man, aiming to demonstrate that it is just as natural for women artists to observe, examine, interpret, and portray the male nude as it is for any artist to portray the female nude”.

“Meine Kunst ist eine persönliche Suche nach der Schönheit der nackten männlichen Figur. Sie zeigt, wie natürlich es für Künstlerinnen ist, den männlichen Akt zu betrachten, zu erforschen, zu interpretieren und auszustellen – genauso selbstverständlich, wie es für sie ist, den weiblichen Akt zu malen und zu präsentieren.”
Mit diesen Worten bringt die mexikanische Künstlerin Fabiola Quezada zum Ausdruck, dass ihr Werk ein bewusster Beitrag zur Geschlechtergleichstellung ist. Es durchbricht überkommene Muster, stellt Konventionen infrage und verteidigt das Recht auf eine weibliche Perspektive in der Darstellung des männlichen Aktes.
